Chief of Mission of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for Sri Lanka & Maldives, Kristin Parco, visited the Katunayake Airport to observe the ongoing progress of the Border Health Project.
According to IOM Sri Lanka, the Border Health Project is implemented by the IOM and funded by the Government of Japan.
The visit focused on key developments under the project, such as the installation of e-Gates, upgraded sensor-equipped washroom facilities, advanced baggage scanners, trolley tug pushers, and other essential health and safety equipment. (Islandnews)
