Sri Lanka's first-class players and support team staff members have been able to cover up to 350 assistants for the year 2025/2.
There are 280 players representing 14 sports clubs (20 players and five support staff from one sports club) have been provided with these insurance facilities.
The policy headed by Chairman Shammi Silva, this insurance cover is aimed at ensuring the safety of every player as well as a support group member.
