Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan has arrived in Sri Lanka to headline the opening ceremony of the ‘City of Dreams Sri Lanka’, the first integrated resort in South Asia.
The Indian actor is attending the launch event held today, after fellow icon Shah Rukh Khan earlier pulled out due to undisclosed reasons.
The highly anticipated resort was previously known as Cinnamon Life Integrated Resort and later renamed ‘City of Dreams Sri Lanka’.
It was renamed after John Keells Holdings (JKH) entered a partnership with global casino operator Melco Resorts and Entertainment Limited to operate a casino at the billion-dollar integrated resort in Colombo.
The US$ 1.2 billion resort project boasts a world-class casino, the luxurious Nüwa hotel and a premium shopping mall. (Islandnews)
