Deputy Minister of Buddhist Affairs, Religious, and Cultural Activities Gamagedara Dissanayake has stated that steps are being taken to include the Dhamma School Final and Dharmacharya Examinations in the national qualifications list.
The Deputy Minister explained that a request has been made to the Education Commission regarding this matter.
He emphasized that this move aims to encourage more students to pursue education in Dhamma Schools.
Deputy Minister Gamagedara Dissanayake also pointed out that some institutions do not properly recognize these examination certificates during recruitment processes, which has led to a decline in student enrollment in Dhamma Schools. (NewsWire)
