Gulf News has released its list of the wealthiest individuals in South Asia for 2025, naming Mukesh Ambani of India as the region’s richest with an estimated net worth of USD 118 billion.
The report also identified the richest in neighbouring countries: Shahid Khan of Pakistan (USD 13.5 billion), Mossa Bin Shamsher of Bangladesh (claims USD 12 billion), Binod Chaudhary of Nepal (USD 1.6 billion), and Ishara Nanayakkara of Sri Lanka (USD 1.6 billion).
According to Gulf News, Ambani’s fortune dwarfs those of other South Asian tycoons, with his wealth nearly 10 times greater than that of Khan, the second on the list. (Islandnews)
