Sri Lanka’s Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has reminded taxpayers to submit their Statement of Estimated Tax Payable (SET) for the Year of Assessment 2025/2026 electronically on or before August 15, 2025.
The IRD said e-services are now open for filing the SET and the Return of Income for Y/A 2024/2025, which must be submitted on or before November 30, 2025.
The deadlines apply to Corporate Income Tax, Partnership Income Tax, and Individual Income Tax, including the IIT Simplified Return. The department warned that late payments will attract interest and penalties and urged taxpayers to use the correct tax type and payment period codes when making payments.
