A protest has been staged by members of the Sri Lanka Youth Club Federation expressing their dissatisfaction with newly elected officials and the process of forming new clubs.
A protest march arrived at the National Youth Services Council premises in Maharagama, with representatives calling on the authorities for a discussion.Â
Speaking to the media, a representative of the Sri Lanka Youth Club Federation voiced his objection to individuals who have less experience being appointed to top posts of the Federation at the district and board levels.Â
Pointing out injustice, he further questioned the fairness for members who have engaged in volunteer work through the Sri Lanka Youth Club Federation for several years. (Islandnews)
