Double Murder Reported in Panichchamkulam

A 68-year-old woman and her 70-year-old husband were killed after being attacked with a sharp weapon at their residence in the Panichchamkulam area of the Mankulam Police Division. The couple succumbed to their injuries after being admitted to Mankulam Hospital. Police are investigating the incident and working to identify and arrest the suspects. In a separate incident in Sitthandi, a 32-year-old woman was killed in a sharp-weapon attack allegedly following a family dispute, with the suspect arrested.
